An Oxford based emergency services provider is seeking experienced call takers
The UK emergency services handled 8.47 billion calls last year, this is an average of 16 calls per minute! Their workforce are dedicated to providing life saving and critical information in emergency call situations whilst remaining calm and collective.
As a call taker, you will be responsible for handling each call professionally and effectively whilst prioritising emergency, urgent and routine calls. This is a full time post and the centre operates 24/7, there fore you will need to be flexible on working nights and weekends. Your first 16 weeks will contain intense training and support which is also continued throughout your career.
To succeed in this role you will need an immaculate attendance and punctuality record, a proven background of being dedicated, flexible on working hours, ambition and drive to achieve goals and progress your career at every opportunity.
