Emerging Market Equity Analyst – EMEA – Long Only – London recruitment
The fund is currently focusing on both developed and emerging market equities. The globally renowned fund is now looking to build on the success they are experiencing in Eastern Europe. The fund which has over $3.6 billion AUM are not looking to add a candidate after substantial investment. The area of focus will be Eastern Europe with a focus on Financials in Turkey, Poland and Russia.
The role is highly attractive due to the career progression opportunities. The analyst will be reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager and have a seat on the investment committee. The office has a very entrepreneurial environment and successful obscure investments are highly praised. The successful candidate will be placed within a team of 6 analysts who will be in constant communication with senior portfolio managers.
Day to Day responsibilities –
- Building and maintaining detailed bottom up company models based upon fundamental analysts.
- Prepare and conduct fundamental research on eastern European Financial markets with a long term approach.
- Develop relationships with industry contacts, brokers and analysts
Requirements -
- Several years of Eastern European Emerging Market analyst experience
- Preferably long only experience
- Preferably buy side experience
- Excellent research, presentation and communication skills
- Languages – Turkish/Russian (preferable)
