Emerging Market trader
American firm looking to hire a risk taker to expand their emerging markets desk. The trader should have a number of years experience as a trader with a particular focus on Russia - CIS - CEE corporate credit products. The candidate must have a proven track record of generating strong PNL in corporate bonds predominantly. The candidate must be comfortable managing and taking own risk and will have been trading these products in a previous role on the sell side ideally.
Responsibilities:
• Russia-CIS Corporate bonds
• Market making
• Push the sales force and help build the franchise
• Manage own risk
• Manage and develop desk tools and databases
Skills - Attributes:
• Minimum 4 years trading experience in this space on an Emerging Market desk
• Very good PNL figures
• Confident taking and managing own risk
• Experienced using standard pricing tools: Bloomberg etc
