Emerging Markets/Rates IT – Senior Java Developer £70k recruitment
Highly successful Rates Business looking to hire skilled Java Developer with some mentoring experience to join the growing Emerging Markets / Rates IT team. Front Office Investment Banking required - £70k + bonus + benefits!
Following on from last year's success, this team is keen to expand their team to manage with the growing business. With plans in place to improve on last year's performance (which was award winning) they are hoping to hire a strong Senior Java Developer to act as the Lead on one of their key Emerging Markets projects.
This role is business focused, so candidates must have previous experience of dealing with traders and other front office staff. As a senior developer on this team you will be expected to work on the full project lifecycle, with significant contribution to architecture and design. The skill set required is as follows:
Core Java Development skills, ideally 5 years +
Spring, Hibernate and other related technologies.
Multithreading
Database experience - any database experience is fine with SQL as a preference.
Some mentoring experience
Ideally Rates / EM knowledge, but any Front Office Investment Banking experience is suitable to apply.
