Job Description / Candidate

- Strong organisational and communication skills, including letter-writing and the ability to communicate clearly via telephone are essential along with a strong numerical skill set.
- Must be up to date with current pensions legislation.
- Willingness and commitment to take specific pension examinations (in particular CII R04 Pension Retirement Planning).
- Duties will include the administration of final salary and group personal pension schemes and SIPP's including adding and removing members, managing queries via email, telephone and letter and producing legal documentation and updates as necessary for the pension scheme members, the employers and other external parties.
- Undertaking of complex administration tasks on a portfolio of clients including maintaining scheme databases, calculating member benefits, processing member events, year-end processes and producing benefit statements.
- Administration of group income protection, critical illness and death in service schemes including adding and removing members, dealing with claims and completing the market review process.
- Dealing with pension scheme members and trustee queries.
