Position Description 787 Everett Field Operations is seeking experienced, inspired Employee Development Specialists. Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced facilitation skills, Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System (BPS) for internal or external customers. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk. Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives. Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans. Works under minimal direction. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners. Understands any additional resources or administrative actions required to help meet schedule requirements and communicates these to management. Involved in developing, improving and maintaining standards processes and procedures. Other Job related information A solid understanding of BPS and Lean principles and practices is highly preferred (5S, Employee Involvement Teams (EI), Accelerated Improvement Workshops (AIWs), 3Ps, etc). Candidates should have a proven record demonstrating the accomplishment of leading groups, individuals and projects, effective communications skills, sound decision making skills, flexibility and team building skills along with professional integrity and demonstrated business acumen. The candidate should have the ability to develop and propose process and product improvements based on system thinking. The candidate should have the ability to understand and know how to influence the entire value chain. This position is mainly 1st shift but must be willing to flex schedule to accommodate different shifts.
