EMPLOYEE HEALTH AND SAFETY PROFESSIONAL - FT (80 Hrs/2 Wks) Days, Monday - Friday - He/She is responsible for the organizational facilitation of Winona Health's Employee Health and Safety Program. This position will maintain current and create new processes to manage employee health and safety programs, as well as working with Occupational Health in the scheduling and completion of routine employee vaccinations and immunization compliance. This role will serve as a liaison between employees, supervisors, Occupational Health, the Safety Committee, Human Resources, and other management. He/she will work closely with those individuals designated to improving the overall Environment of Care for Patients/Residents/Visitors to ensure proper alignment of initiatives and values. A 4-Year Degree or Certification in Safety Management or related field is required or should have equivalent of five years experience in a progressively responsible safety position. Background and basic understanding of Human Resource employment laws preferred. Completion or eligible completion of a minimum of a 10-hour OSHA training course and knowledge of safety statistical measurement methodology preferred. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Lean management skills preferred. OSHA Safety experience a must.
