As a key member of the Employee Policies Practices team based in New York, this role will focus on employee relations, HR policy design, and organizational change initiatives. The incumbent must be able to provide expert consultation and advice to HR business partners across the enterprise on employee relations matters. In addition, the role will assist in efforts to design employee related policies that are competitive, compliant and cultivate a positive and productive work environment. Finally, the incumbent will assist with facilitating staff changes and reductions related to organizational redesign.
• Strong knowledge of employment law (EEO, FMLA, ADA etc) • Experience developing and writing HR policy• MBA or Masters degree with a concentration in Human Resources Management or similar concentration is preferred• A proven track record of consistently exceeding performance expectations • Strong PC skills
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• At least seven years experience working in Employee Relations
• Strong knowledge and facility for interpreting and communicating employment laws and HR policy
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify needs / issues quickly
• Detail oriented with very strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as a valuable partner with all levels of management
• Strong relationship building skills and collaborative style
• Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
