We currently have a full-time Employee Relations Manager opportunity based at our corporate office in San Jose, CA.

We seek a seasoned professional to engage with employees in groups and one-on-one to ensure that our culture is reinforced and that employees feel connected, recognized and proud to be a part of Satellite Healthcare. You will develop and implement plans to increase overall employee satisfaction, establish and participate in employee involvement groups to address issues concerning culture, communication, recognition and other areas of employee satisfaction, and partner with the Training and Development Manager to reinforce key management skills such as coaching, recognition and communication. Additionally, you will conduct employee exit interviews to gain a better sense of existing employee issues.

To succeed, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, 10+ years of ER experience, a background working in a union environment and demonstrated success in resolving highly complex ER issues while working with all levels of employees and management. Requires expert knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations, the ability to think systemically and consult strategically with all levels of managers and leaders, and excellent issue resolution skills with the ability to negotiate and resole complex matters. Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret written business and statistical data are a must, as are managerial courage and the ability to have critical conversations using diplomacy and tact to diffuse high tension situations effectively.
