Position Description:
Position Summary
Responsible for consistent management of employee relations matters
for the MSSB US Wealth Management organization. Focus on ER issues
and investigations, EEO complaints, Financial Advisor partnership
disputes and dissolutions, other work-related issues and case
documentation. ER Specialist will also serve as an escalation point
on disputed workplace conflicts/concerns. The ER Specialist will
work in close concert with the HR Generalists and legal to evaluate
the resolve the more complex employee relations issues.

Duties and Responsibilities
? Investigate employee relations complaints and partner with legal
on investigations of EEO complaints
? Conduct interviews and prepare investigative documentation
related to complaints of discrimination, sexual harassment and
other work-related issues; recommend appropriate resolution of
complaints and monitor results
? Manage monthly/quarterly reporting for various HR and Diversity
stakeholders
? Utilize the Employee Relations Database to manage cases from
intake to resolution
? Interview employees and discuss work-related matters that
adversely affect morale, health, and productivity
? Explain and provide advice to employees about company and
governmental rules, regulations and procedures, and need for
compliance
? Attend meetings as employee-management liaison to facilitate
communication between parties
? Develop and administer progressive discipline policy and
procedures

Education and/or Experience
? Bachelor's degree
? Experience in managing employee relations matters; including
complex issues regarding discrimination and harassment
? Experience working in a large, complex organization is
preferred
? 5 years employee relations experience
