Employee Relations Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Apply all Company policies and procedures consistently. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs

·         Responsible for supporting up to approximately 20 market locations

·         Conduct investigations

·         Advises management in appropriate resolution of Associate Relations issues

·         Provides counsel to Managers and Associates with regards to disciplinary action or job performance issues

·         Respond to unemployment claims and represents the company at any related hearings.

·         Complete and process PCF forms relative to any status changes (i.e., transfers, promotions, and terminations)

·         Review files prior to terminating an employee. Ensure documentation is complete and all necessary disciplinary steps have been followed

·         Assist National HR Manager with any projects as assigned
