Full Job Description

A fantastic and rare opportunity for a Director level candidate to move into a leading US bank, and become the employee remuneration director working on a wide range of tax advisory work as well as other projects.

The role is purely advisory, advand will include advising on executive compensation programs as well as compensation plan structuring. You will be providing advice in relation to transaction structuring and all employment related securities issues.

Further responsibilities will be as follows:
* Providing advice with respect to administration of carried interest plans and leveraged co-investment plans
* Providing support to employment lawyers on employee tax matters, as well as managing external tax advisors.
* Work with HR on tax matters relating to international mobility programs within the firm
* Presentations to management on recommendations.

Key attributes of interested candidates will include:
* Strong technical knowledge and experience in executive compensation program implementation and design.
* Knowledge of co-investment plans and carried interest plans.
* Knowledge of partnership taxation both in the UK and the US would be desirable.

The right individual will be someone with significant transactional and technical experience in a law firm, accountancy practice or industry. You will need to have excellent analytical and research skills, as well as managing junior staff. Teamwork is key, and being able to deal confidently with senior management in the firm and with external advisors.
