Position Description:
The primary responsibilities for this position include:

• developing and continually updating a strategic plan for using social media, mobile, email and web platforms to build relationships with talented individuals who might be a good fit for our staffing needs
• implementing most, if not all, of the strategic plans mentioned above, once approved by the Recruiting Manager and appropriate HR leaders
• supporting retention and internal mobility campaigns that help valued Publix associates extend their careers
• supporting the development and implementation of employment branding campaigns, and
• tracking metrics to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of all employment branding campaigns.
Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include:

• High School diploma, or its equivalent
• five years marketing, communications, public relations and/or social media experience
• two years of experience (personal or professional) using Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Linkedin, blogging, podcasting, webinars and online communities
• strong interpersonal skills to relate effectively in a virtual world, to relate effectively with others at Publix, and to be an effective contributor to project teams
• strong communication skills to clearly articulate the benefits of working at Publix, our employment process, and the qualifications and duties of our store and support positions, and
• strong critical thinking skills to determine appropriate content for each digital media platform, to understand effective ways to address comments and complaints on our social media accounts, and to evaluate the risks and benefits of new virtual technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
• at least three years experience handling corporate communications on sensitive topics
• at least three years experience developing employment branding materials and communications
• at least three years of experience with desktop publishing, particularly using InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop
• at least three years of experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• at least three years experience defining, tracking and analyzing metrics, in particular using Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and Radian6
• one to three years project management experience
• one to three years experience with email marketing campaigns
• one to three years retail experience (particularly with a supermarket and best of all, with Publix)
• one to three years recruiting and HR experience
• one to two years experience with audio/video publishing and video communications
• one to two years experience developing a strategic plan
• one to two years experience conducting gap analyses
• one to two years experience with primary and secondary data analysis, including focus groups
• one to two years experience with search engine optimization and/or search engine marketing
• one to two years public speaking experience, and
• bilingual skills.

Compensation:
- Pay Type: Hourly
- Minimum Base Pay: $16.70
- Maximum Base Pay: $23.10
- Year End Bonus: To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in December. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks pay.- Incentive Bonus: NA
- Potential Annual Pay with Bonus: $36,072 - 49,896
