Employment Lawyer recruitment
As the Employment Lawyer at UBS, you will join the Employment Legal team providing legal support to all UBS Group entities in Asia Pacific (including advice on hiring, dismissing, disciplinary action and policy).
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Provide legal advisory support to Firm's operations in Asia in the area of general corporate i.e. non-transactional/non-product.
- Provide input and support on the Firm's global and regional initiatives and projects on an ad hoc basis.
- Work as part of the corporate legal team and be prepared to provide backup support to other corporate legal team members (eg. general commercial work and corporate advisory, outsourcing, technology, general commercial, intellectual property, data privacy, governance).
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate should have the following requisites:
- Lawyer with employment law experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact and work with people from different areas and locations at all levels.
- Willingness to learn on the job.
- Mandarin reading and writing skills preferred, but not essential.
