Current Need

MD, EHR Product Director

We are seeking a Medical Director to join the McKesson Practice Partner Product Management team. The candidate will lead the clinical development effort as it relates to the EHR. In addition, this person will serve as the subject matter expert on the product.

Position Description

Responsibilities:

* Knowledgeable about marketing trends, activities and customer needs across the various Ambulatory segments

* Responsible for prioritizing, designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs, applications software, and/or services for clients.

* Leads changes in software functional design requirements, business processes, maintenance, and/or system standards.

* Provides and executes on strategic direction of the product.

* Formulate user use case, business, and system requirements which have particular technical depth or interconnectivity/complexity in written format (diagrams, workflows, etc). Lead workouts and discussions to this end.

* Work with both internal and external key stakeholders to prioritize functionality investments.

* Identify and lead creative solutions to business requirement challenges (resource and time constraints) thru design creativity and compromise.

* Lead various analyst, technical, cross-business or cross-functional team members for specialized projects (workflow interdependency, integration, mentoring, etc)

* Evaluate business impact of technical situations quickly and communicates to the appropriate business/management resources

* Physician advisor to the business particularly on physician related workflow questions

* Research complex EMR functional areas with multiple dependencies across other product components. Analyze these complexities and where appropriate lead team to resolution/vetting of interdependencies.

* Engages with other McKesson physicians and be a representative at the McKesson Clinical Council

* Responsible for defining, advising and delivering the PPS clinical content strategy

* Consults and assists customers on workflow and product related questions

Travel: 30%

Location: prefer Alpharetta, GA . Will considser remote locations
