Description:

The Energy Infrastructure Intelligence Group (EIIG) is a dynamic business unit within PowerAdvocate, focused on providing the energy industry with the data and insights necessary to navigate increasingly volatile cost markets.   Our intelligence products enable sophisticated management of the cost and performance risks associated with large scale, operations and investments.  We support Fortune 500 energy clients (as well as a growing number of financial services, equipment suppliers, private equity, and third-party consulting firms) across the entire energy value chain, including renewable energy, nuclear power, transmission distribution, environmental retrofits, oil gas distribution, and fossil generation.

Summary:

The Energy Business Analyst develops quantitative and analytical analyses of cost trends that affect the decision making and future growth of the Energy Industry.

Responsibilities:

·         Conduct primary research and analyses using PowerAdvocate and industry sources, including competitive assessment and third-party data.

·         Build cost models for utility and energy companies, including labor, metals, and other commodities.

·         Produce detailed forecasts and market segmentation and penetration estimates.

·         Develop quantitative and qualitative analytical tools to identify micro and macro trends for utility projects.

·         Create and deliver high quality written reports and oral presentations quarterly.

·         Respond to internal and external customer requests with a sense of urgency.
