Role Description:
The role provides considerable challenge, variety and opportunity for development in a client-facing environment. Through the role the candidate will deliver solutions to clients in the Financial Services, Retail Energy, Water Utilities and/or Energy Trading sectors to help them develop and improve the effectiveness of their business.
Characteristics of the role include:
- Engagements are performed at the client’s place of business, and will require you to be honest, flexible, adaptable and passionate about their business
- Specific roles will vary depending on requirements but typically require application of a combination of business analysis, process design, and systems development techniques.
Skills Experience:
Particular requirements include:
- Degree at graduate or undergraduate level.
- Evidence of professional business process / IT consulting experience, in roles that demonstrate the ability to deliver solutions in challenging, client-facing environments.
- Strong skills in business process analysis and/or IT systems delivery, including management experience in all stages of the systems project lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral).
Experience in the following areas will be beneficial:
- Trading environments, particularly in energy trading
- Risk management (market and credit) or regulatory compliance areas
- The retail energy, water and utilities industry, metering and CRM or CIS systems
- Global financial markets, retail banking, insurance or investment management
