Energy Derivatives Sales | AVP/VP – Singapore APAC recruitment

Ideally the candidate should have existing relationships within Asia- Pacific, development the business and client base while managing of existing clients' portfolio.

Responsibilities for role:

• Develop profitable book consisting of sales of energy products, natural gas, oil coal, to institutional and corporate clients.

• Responsible for building and developing new clients and business activities for the company as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients

• Writing of daily reports and providing clients with accurate information flow.

• Marketing of desk to prospective fund clients.

• Negotiation of commission and sales to clients / prospects and to internal desks.

Skills / Attributes required for the role:

• 4+ years of energy derivatives sales experience

• Existing relationships and clients

• Excellent communication and relationship management with both internal desks and current / prospective clients.

• In depth knowledge across all commodity markets and of the hedge fund / pension fund industry.

• Excellent technical knowledge of electronic trading platforms and high-level execution skills both electronically and through pit brokers.

• Billingual in English and Mandarin would be a plus.
