Energy Engineer Job in Fife, Fife UK

Thatcher Energy are currently recruiting for a large defence and engineering client who provide engineering solutions to a variety of sectors.

 

Due to their current requirements they are looking to appoint an Energy Engineer on a 12 month contract basis to their office in Fife, Scotland.

 

The scope of the work package is, but is not limited to, the following:

 

Delivering carbon reduction projects, on budget

Monitoring these projects, amending actions when required

Working with stakeholders to encourage energy efficiency and identifying areas for improvement whilst ensuring their processes are aligned with carbon reduction objectives

Ensuring customers are fully informed of business standards

Developing awareness of carbon reduction objectives

Monitoring utility consumption and providing accurate reports of this

Implementing measures that provide a cost effective service to customers.

 

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline and ideally Chartered (or working toward Chartership). Experience in an engineering environment and the ability to manage projects effectively is essential. The candidate will also have experience of empowering and engaging others.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership, the ability to manage and adapt to change and have excellent customer awareness

This opportunity is available on a 12 month contract, looking to pay £37k-£44k.
