My client is one of the Leading Energy Suppliers in Europe and they are actively looking to further strengthen their skilled Risk Reporting team with budget signed off to hire a Energy Hedging Analyst.
This represents a fantastic opportunity for you to develop as an Energy professional in a highly analytical role with clear career progression and internal opportunities to grow into. You will utilise your knowledge of the Energy Trading markets covering Power / Gas / Oil products collating complex data sets, modelling the Energy Curve and representing this data across the business. This role requires advanced working knowledge of VBA as you aid the development of a complex excel toolset used by the business for complex data quires and risk reporting. You will gain invaluable exposure to the Energy Trading environment and will be very market focussed, enabling you to develop your career as an energy professional.
Candidate specification:
-Prior work experience within the Energy Sector.
-Advanced VBA skill - Ability to develop and maintain complex models
-Python or C++ experience beneficial
-Numerate Degree level education
