Our Client
Our client is a energy management company that works throughout the UK and Europe offering energy management solutions to mainly large manufacturing and production plants/ factories.
The Role
Energy Manager required to reduce energy expenditure, meet government sustainability legislation for a leading manufacturing/production plant based in the London area.You will be required to manage the department within the company, effectively utilising identified resources to ensure they meet both service delivery and budgetary targets.
Requirements
You will have at least 5 years experience gained with an manufacturing/production delivery environment, where they have had some exposure to financial management, SHE, people and customer relationship management. Must have an energy background, experience of working with in any of the following HVAC, Construction, Steam Boilers, Biomass Boilers, Renewable Energy Heating, Thermal Energy, commercial energy performance issues (EPC) and energy management systems (EMS). Prefer someone from an engineering background worked in the utilities, refrigeration and plant services sector or similar field. Also dealing with cost profits, estimating cost, budgets and contractual issues. Candidate will also be required to Develope exisiting and new business.
You must have a full driving licence as you will be required to travel across the UK to visit your client sites. You will be computer literate and have experience of using the Microsoft suite of software packages. (Word, Excel, Outlook etc). You will also have worked with a quality management system and FM software such as Concept, Maximo, Planet FM.
A strong technical background with staff management is essential as you will be managing multiple engineering teams.
