Our client, a global leading financial clearing, sales and brokerage house is looking to develop their commodities business in London. They require an energy marketer to join the group and assist in developing the teams coverage into a number of new markets.
Responsibilities forEnergy Marketer/Reporter, UK, London, Salary: £40-45k, (Energy, Power, Gas, Derivatives, Physical, Sales, Marketing, Analysis, UK, London, Europe) role:
- To research, write and produce regular gas and power market reports
- To research, write and produce a daily energy briefs for the sales and trading teams
- Provide support to business development teams through development of new business and trading counterparties
Skills / Attributes required for Energy Marketer/Reporter, UK, London, Salary: £40-45k, (Energy, Power, Gas, Derivatives, Physical, Sales, Marketing, Analysis, UK, London, Europe) role:
- Analyst - Associate Level
- Knowledge of UK gas and power markets required
- Knowledge of European gas, power, oil, coal and emissions markets preferable
- Previous experience in market analysis and journalism
- Strong contacts in the grains markets beneficial
- Be willing to be based in London
