Energy Originator
This is an excellent commercial role with responsibility for selling commodity trading products to a range of key clients throughout Germany and Austria. The clients will include Stadtwerkes, Regional suppliers and industrials in Germany and Austria. They key products will centre around gas and electricity.
This is a key business development role and it will be key that you can build a strong network with traders and portfolio managers of these counterparties. You will have to identify opportunities for structured or long term transactions. In addition the task will be to expand the network of counterparties in Germany and Austria. For this the job holder will establish good working relationship with middle office and back office functions. To be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous experience in the European gas, oil or electricity markets is essential.
- Marketing or sales experience is also an essential requirement.
- German language skills, ideally as native language
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment is essential and being proactive
