Energy Product Controller recruitment
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of Physical Commodity markets, strong understanding of derivative products, combined with a financial reporting and control mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily PL and Risk production for the Trading desk
• Understanding and Explaining PL residuals
• Client Value and Portfolio Management analysis
• Balance Sheet Monitoring, Analysis and Usage Review
• Implement improvements to the system infrastructure control environment
• Month end management (PL forecasts, Interaction with Fair Value group)
• New Business proposals (NBIA)
• Deliver support for new products and initiatives
Key Skills:
• Associate with relevant experience within an Investment Bank.
• Strong Commodities knowledge.
• Experience with Physical Commodities required.
• Strong derivatives knowledge.
• Demonstrates very good Excel skills. VBA and Access knowledge is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Pro-activity in identifying control gaps, defining resolution and taking to closure
