Energy Operations Project Manager, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Gas, Power, Trading, Operations, Project Management, Energy, Commodities)
An energy major is currently in the process of expanding its European business and subsidiaries into new markets and commodities across Europe. They are looking for an experienced operations manager and/or project manager with energy trading exposure (ideally gas or power), to join their team in London.
This position would ideally suit an individual with around five years experience energy operations and project management experience. The successful individual will be responsible for overseeing the research, planning and implementation of expansion into new markets and products.
Responsibilities of Energy Operations Project Manager, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Gas, Power, Trading, Operations, Project Management, Energy, Commodities) role:
· Research of new markets, products and projects
· Leading and coordinating the setup of new branches, subsidiaries, access to exchanges, products and markets.
· Managing relevant internal processes
· Work closely with trading team and business development groups
· Assist in arrangement of counterparty trading agreements
· Provide support to origination and structuring colleagues
Skills required for Energy Operations Project Manager, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Gas, Power, Trading, Operations, Project Management, Energy, Commodities) role:
· A broad exposure to energy trading and/or operations
· Strong interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work with various stakeholders
· Experience managing multiple projects to various deadlines
· Highly organised, and able to work under pressure within a trading environment
· Able to live and work in London
