Fitch Ratings Corporates department seeks an Associate Director or Director for coverage of the Oil and Gas industry. 

Seeking an Associate Director or Director for coverage of the Oil and Gas industry. This position will have direct responsibility for a portfolio of 12 - 15 companies. Primary duties associated with the portfolio of companies include: conducting onsite meetings with senior corporate management; performing analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors, detailed financial modeling; presenting companies to Fitch's internal credit rating committee; communicating ratings and rating rationale to senior management; interacting with investors, sell-side analysts and media; public speaking on the sector; and writing and publishing press releases and research reports. Candidates must have the ability to work both independently and as a team member. Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience, a solid understanding credit analysis with formal credit training, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is necessary. MBA and/or CFA/CPA preferred. Position will require 15-20% travel.
