Senior Manager of Development – Energy Services
Location - New York
The Senior Manager of Development is responsible for overseeing all of the Northeast, New York Metro or New England area Energy Services development activities while functioning as the lead developer on some projects. The Development Manager will plan and direct engineering management activities.
Core Competencies:
• General experience with Federal ESPC, State/Local Performance Contracting, and/or
Demand Side Management programs preferred.
• Provide direction to all project/energy efficiency engineers. Hire for engineering positions.
• Evaluate performance of engineering staff, guide, mentor train engineering staff.
• Work with the Sales team in proposal development and participate in customer meetings.
• Experience implementing MEP and Performance Contracting projects desirable.
• Engineering technical writing skills, including word processing spreadsheet analyses.
• Measurement and verification skills, including installation of instrumentation.
• Building energy use modeling and simulation experience.
• Experience in various utility rebate programs offered for electrical and gas efficiency projects
• AutoCAD proficiency a plus.
Experience: 15 years engineering and construction experience managing multiple projects in the energy services and engineering design arena.
Education: BS Mechanical Engineering
Certifications: PE CEM desired
