Energy Trading Consultant- Openlink, Triplepoint, Allegro, Amphora, Allign, CXL, Energy, Endur ETRM, Commodities- London

This is an essential hire for a top 4 consultancy as they look to build a market leading team across the European market place. With a comprehensive understanding of the energy market (Energy, Openlink, Endur, CXL, Triple Point, Alllegro, Allign, Amphora, ETRM, Commodities) the senior specialist will be responsible for trading and risk management advisory and consultancy services, provide input on planning, implementation and technical support during building, testing and deployment of enhancements/customizations. Support client workshops to translate business requirements into system design.
The successful candidate Energy Trading Consultant- Openlink, Triplepoint, Allegro, Amphora, Allign, CXL, Energy, Endur, ETRM, Commodities, will be required to develop a deep level of subject matter expertise and support client workshops to translate business requirements into system designs.
The following experience is required:
* Solid understanding of the energy / commodity industry end-to-end, crude oil, and refined products.
* Experience in both physical and financial trading environment trading a plus.
* Experience in consulting role or similar client-facing role a distinct advantage.
* Experience with the implementation and or upgrade of ETRM systems
* Requirements gathering and managing user requirements workshops and formulation of an overall solution design
* Provide guidance to custom solution developers
* Performing system tests to prove system and infrastructure functionality and performance
* Calculation and reporting of risk measures
* Real-time exposure reporting
* End-of-day middle office and risk reporting
The successful candidate will need to possess the relevant skills outlined below:
* Experience of working within commodity markets, in any role that has provided a sound understanding of ETRM solutions
* Ability to verbally present logical solutions in a clear and concise manner
* A willingness and ability to quickly understand unfamiliar topics related to trading, risk management and technology.
