Energy Trading Major seeks 2 x Senior Trade Control Analysts – London recruitment
This Trade Control team provides the trading desks and senior management with comprehensive up-to-the-minute performance and control analysis of the trading business, this includes PL measurement, trading exposure and risk reporting. The Trade Control Analysts will work closely with the traders and other parts of the trading business providing them with detailed analysis. These roles offer great exposure to the business and experience in this area could lead to a range of progression opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Report timely and accurate daily market exposure and profit and loss for a trading book
- Provide routine analysis of the book performance to the traders and vessel charters.
- Use knowledge of the books activities to understand and explain commercial activities and strategies.
- Guarantee compliance for trading procedures.
- Maintain a good knowledge of market conditions.
- Maintain good relations with traders and vessel charters.
- Prepare position, risk and PL reports for trading books on daily and monthly basis
Requirements:
- Mid office analytical experience within an energy trading environment
- Relevant experience within a trade/product control role in a trading environment
- Strong knowledge of energy trading, Gas, Power or Oil.
- Knowledge of control processes applicable to a trading / regulated environment
- Ability to work in a team and meet strict deadlines.
