Energy trading software ETRM Business Analyst recruitment
MAIN JOB FUNCTION:
To work on all parts of application lifecycle (analysis, design and testing) within a Trading and/or Risk Management environment.
This concerns commercial ETRM packages (such as OpenLink-Endur, Sungard-Zainet Trayport-Trayport Gateway...) as well as own development (Microsoft .Net).
Based in London, or based in Brussels but prepared to travel to other branch offices of ETS for well-defined missions (especially, Brussels and Houston).
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
To be a link between the company Business Functions and the Information Communication Technology Department to evaluate their needs (requirement gathering, opportunity management based on emerging technology and business case) and document formally.
To be a link between external partners and the ICT Department.
To draw up and deliver punctually a functional analysis conformable to a pragmatic methodology.
To act as a functional expert for ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) applications and you follow up of the evolution closely.
To use this knowledge to configure the applications in accordance with the needs of the business.
To be co-responsible for the quality of the IT solutions delivered.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS:
University degree with stress on Informatics, or equally by experience.
At least 2 years experience in producing functional analyses.
Knowledge of the Trading domain and corresponding ETRM packages is an asset.
Experience in the energy sector is an asset.
Knowledge of analysis methodologies and UML are advantages.
Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Italian is an asset
Good communication ability with clients, external partners as well as with developers.
To be flexible team player and immune to stress.
Analytical mind with an eye for accuracy.
