BAE is looking for a software engineer/integrator to support software development and integration activities for a large system development program. The development environment will utilize Linux workstations and servers with test interfaces with the primary development language being Java. Specific responsibilities include include: * Developing custom software and tools * Integration testing, debugging, fixing software as part of early software integration test * Supporting the implementation, release, test and acceptance testing of the final implementation Required Education: Required Experience: Required Skills: 2+ Years with BA, 0+ Years with MS * 1 -5 years of professional experience * Proficient in JEE and web services development with experience in each of the following: Java v5, EJB v3 and JBoss. * Ability to design /develop interfaces to, and integrate COTS products * Hands-on integration of Linux/Unix-based systems * Experience with model driven software design and development * Experience with full life cycle software development (design, development, unit test and software integration test) * Excellent communication skills * Ability to qualify for a Limited Background Investigation or a DOD Secret Preferred Skills: * Biometric system development, preferably large-scale systems. * JMS, JAX-WS (SOAP based Web Services), Eclipse IDE, Hibernate/JPA, ActiveVOS/BPEL * Rational Tool Suite (ClearCase/ClearQuest) BAE Systems is a premier global defense and security company with approximately 100,000 employees delivering a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support and services.
