This is a high profile role for an experienced Engagement Manager- CPM Software (Corporate Performance Management) with strong business acumen and delivery skills.  The role will be integral in developing a centre of excellence for CPM within a major ERP software vendor.

My client is a leading ERP software vendor with award winning solutions covering Finance, HR and CPM. Customers and Analysts agree that they are well positioned in the UK market. They have sustainable and growing revenues of over £400M and employ over 600 staff in the UK alone.

Responsibilities

·         You will provide expertise in assisting the CPM team to devise and implement the CPM services  strategy and turning that strategic intent into operational reality
·         To bridge the transition from pre to post sales – working with Sales and Business Management to develop opportunities and CPM solutions propositions - and then taking them through to successful post sales engagement and deployment
·         Working primarily on customer sites throughout the UK and occasionally overseas. Extensive travel is a key feature of this role
·         Team leading  for other CPM consultants providing guidance, mentoring and leadership

Essential experience (Please only apply if you meet the key criteria for the role):

The role requires a person who has a track record of selling and delivering innovative and value add CPM solutions across a range of industry sectors.  The candidate must have not only excellent knowledge of the CPM market and technical solutions, but must be able to bring the solutions to life and deliver compelling business arguments at pre-sales stage which result in demand for software and services.

Including the following:

·         Strong consultancy and business development background proven in the CPM arena
·         Proven experience of leading successful CPM bids taking deals from early stages through to signature and beyond
·         Strong knowledge of CPM tools such as Cognos, Hyperion, Business Objects, SAP EPM, Oracle EPM, Cartesis, SAS, Board CPM, Microsoft BI
·         Understanding of how CPM solutions support the wider ERP offering
·         Experience in design and delivery of CPM solutions i.e. Reporting, Analytics, KPI’s, enterprise planning, budgeting and forecasting
·         Experience of delivering corporate CPM within large scale Business Transformation environments (including private and  public sectors)
·         Expertise in scoping and planning large and complex CPM engagements (including pricing, scoping, risk management and budget management)
·         Excellent senior, including C-Level, stakeholder management skills with experience of attending client meetings and workshops
·         Ability to provide thought and vision leadership on CPM and the ability to mentor internal team members.
·         The ability to provide through experience the definition of front end reporting and analytic components at a local and enterprise level
