Design Engineer
Electric Mirror is a design and manufacture company in Everett, WA, providing the hospitality industry with custom
lighted mirrors and mirror televisions. We are looking for a mid level engineer who is efficient, motivated and excels at problem solving and product design.
Skills/Experience:
-BSME preferred
-Product design experience
-Experience in custom product manufacturing, in a rapid
design to production cycle environment.
-3+ years SolidWorks field experience required
-Sheet metal design a plus
-BOM creation and management knowledge
-MRP/ERP System experience (Epicor is preferred)
-Understanding of various materials, fabrication techniques and
finishes as well as associated process limitations
-Good understanding of complete production scope
-Detail oriented with high accuracy
-Prior LED and fluorescent lighting design experience a plus
Responsibilities:
-Design or modify sheet metal fixtures using SolidWorks CAD
software
-Create assembly and part drawings
-Create and maintain BOM’s
-Document procedures
-Sourcing new parts and materials
-Communicate requirements with contractors and designers
-Will be expected to design and develop new products with
little supervision
