Engineer Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Good general knowledge of aircraft structures;
- Demonstrated ability in mathematical reasoning;
- Good general knowledge of FEM and traditional analysis methods;
- Good general knowledge of design optimisation;
- Provision of effective and timely advice as requested from managers and engineering personnel.
Key Accountabilities:
- Tertiary qualification within Engineering is essential – specialisation in Aerospace highly regarded;
- Minimum five (5) years industry experience in analysis of both metals and composite structures required, including static and fatigue methods – specific experience with damage tolerance analysis procedures will be highly regarded;
- Sufficient knowledge and experience of other related aerospace engineering disciplines to support their integration within design activity;
- Knowledge of airworthiness requirements and design standards;
- Strong verbal and written communications skills;
- Willingness to participate in a team oriented environment;
- Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and practices is highly desirable.
Classification Level:
This is an award position within the Engineering/Scientist Level 2 or above classification. Level will be dependent upon applicant qualification and experience.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a three (3) month probationary period.
