Job Description - Provides technical oversight in the remediation construction. - Primary focus will be to provide engineering oversight on related to pipeline abandonment and associated projects, under minimum supervision and direction. - The Project Engineer will have a strong understanding of engineering principals, construction practices and health and safety protocols. - The Project Engineer will be expected to undertake all aspects of project tasks, including developing project work plans, as-built drawings, engineering estimates, health and safety plans, and final construction reports. - The Project Engineer will be expected to have an underst anding of remediation construction, OM protocols, construction regulatory framework and HS requirements. - The Project Engineer will coordinate with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, field staff and other appropriate technical resources to make certain that the project tasks are completed within project specification. - The Project Engineer will also participate in aspects of proposal preparation and work scoping exercises, such as sourcing and seeking quotes from subcontractors/suppliers as directed by the Project Manager. - The Project Engineer may supervise and delegate various tasks to junior staff undertaking field work assignments. - The Project Engineer will be a self starter and project driver, anticipating and initiating project tasks without prompting from the Project Manager. - It is required that the Project Engineer have completed the 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operation (HAZWOPER) training, the 8-Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor training, and maintain any required refresher training up-to-date. - Experience requirements: 4+ yrs in an engineering or technical field with adequate field experience. - Project Work will be based in Central California.
