Job Description AECOM is seeking an entry level traffic/planning engineer to add to our Middleton, WI office. Responsibilities will include: Route location planning and feasibility studies Traffic impact studies Traffic management plans Environmental assessments for transportation facilities Traffic data collection and analysis Intersection control evaluations Safety assessments and corridor reviews Design of traffic control devices. An enthusiastic individual eager to face challenges, assume responsibility for their efforts, and take pride in a job well-done is best qualified to meet the demands of this position. Candidates are expected to apply their technical training to develop solutions, be willing to work within a group, and learn new skills. Computer literacy and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly are a requirement. Candidates must be able to adjust to short-term assignments. Organizational skills including the ability to communicate with clients and agencies both verbally and through written correspondence are a must. Qualifications BS or MS in Civil Engineering with a transportation focus. Successful candidates will have 0 - 2 years experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning projects MicroStation experience preferred. Experience a plus. EIT a plus.
