Candidate Specification
Our expanding Rail and Transit business has created openings for Railroad Engineers with specializations in Alignments, Facilities, and Bridges. The Railroad Engineer should possess a B.S. Degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited school with 2-3 years experience the Rail Transit field and an EIT certificate. Experience using CAD programs such as AutoCAD and/or Microstation with the Civil 3d and InRoads/InRail add-ons is also required. They must also be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Job Description
The Rail Engineer will perform design activities as part of a project team for all phases of the civil and transportation design of Rail and Transit projects. They will assist with reporting tasks and development of project documentation, coordination of sub-consultants and external parties, maintaining project databases, drawing lists, and registers. In addition, they will assist with field work, including site investigations and survey work.
