DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for design and/or specification of test boxes, cables, equipment, software and systems to facilitate testing of electrical and electronic equipment designed for unmanned air vehicles.

  • Responsible for design and coding embedded software for test PWA’s and test code for production PWA’s and LRU’s.

  • May be responsible for microprocessor based test boards design and documentation.

  • May be responsible for system level troubleshooting guides and fault isolation diagrams for AV and ground support systems.

  • Responsible to review new designs for testability.

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Requires a bachelors degree, a Masters degree, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and progressively complex engineering experience as follows: six or more with a Bachelors, four or more years experience with a Masters, and two or more with a PhD.

  • Must have strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to perform complex tasks in one or more engineering areas; capable of representing the organization as a prime technical contact and, lead a team of moderately experienced professional employees on single component projects.

  • Must have embedded programming experience, preferably in C.

  • Must have Test engineering experience in a factory environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs and Microsoft Windows OS is required.

  • Able to work extended hours as required.

    • DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A working knowledge of Lab view programming, experience with programming complex ATE using Lab View.

  • Advanced Circuit design experience, designing test boards for complex ATE systems.

  • Designing and implementing Oracle Databases, generating quarries and reports using APEX.

  • Experence on the Factory floor debugging and fixing factory test issues.

  • Experience in general purpose test equipment, O ‘Scopes, Power supplies, DMM’s, Digitizers.

  • Mechanical aptitude is a strong plus.
