Job Responsibilities

·         Drives continuous improvement, improved customer satisfaction, reduced waste, increased efficiency and elimination of variation in processes

·         Ability to work in a team environment to perform problem solving and root cause analysis

·         Leads continuous improvement projects aligned to lean manufacturing principles; leads cost reductions and yields improvements with delivery partners

·         Strong understanding of DMAIC tools; when to apply them, interpretation of results and application for effective solutions (process map, process capability, CE matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, control plan) drive improvement activity.

·         Utilizes sound project management tools for complex projects and key initiatives.

·         Collaborates with delivery partners to determine appropriate projects of focus, using available data from observation, queries, process data, and working partner input.

·         Interfaces with advanced design, product engineering, and other business partners on the design for manufacturability, process capability, and production builds of new product or product revisions.

·         Demonstrates continued personal growth and development. 

·         Builds cooperative relationships across the organization. Interfaces with Business Partner groups responsible for our processes and or methodologies, i.e. AMS, new product development or continuous product and process improvement

 Qualifications:

·         4 year degree in Engineering or Technology

·         1-10 years engineering experience, several levels of experience positions available

·         Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

·         Project management skills and working with a collaborative and cross functional team

·         Knowledge of quality systems, Process improvement

·         Strong Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Aptitude

·         Strong Ability to find and utilize data for driving improvement

·         Product development experience a plus
