Entry Qualifications:
BS Degree In engineering, 2 to 5 years Experience applying work principles within assigned technical fields or MS degree and no experience
Demonstrates experience in at least one related product line, exposure to other lines and some knowledge of competitor products
Demonstrates experience in use of CAD and Database systems related to Engineering functions
Training Requirements:
Knowledge of Edmonton operating Procedures, START safety program, team center Engineering, and applicable industry standards
Scope of Responsibilities:
Demonstrates solid understanding of policies and procedures that apply to assignments
Demonstrates ability to creates functional and cost effective designs that meet specification requirements with supervision
Some understanding of internal economic factors affecting projects to which assigned
Demonstrates some capability for conceptualizing designs
Operates within local organization and accomplishes work with limited consultation
Receives general instruction for routine projects and detailed instructions for more complex projects
Receives some guidance on process and timing
