Engineer Network 4 Job in Aurora, Colorado Us

Northrop Grumman has a need for an experienced Network Engineer. The program is looking for a forward-thinking engineer who will be primarily responsible for the up-front systems engineer design, development, integration and test of numerous high speed data networks and circuits. These networks will support multiple levels of security and the candidate must be familiar with encryption devices, guards, firewalls, and security hardening procedures. Candidate must be familiar with network sizing and performance analyses. Candidate must develop a monitoring tool to assess the health and status of each network from a central location. Candidate is responsible for specifying, provisioning and verifying WAN/circuit performance. Candidate will work in a dynamic and changing environment supporting multiple tasks and must work well in a team environment that requires interface with program management, supplier level management, various sites, other project IPTs. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be able to skillfully present and convey complex technical information in a clear and logical manner. Due to the special program access candidate may experience a delayed start.

Basic Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related engineering field with 9 years experience. Excellent communication and customer service skills are critical; ability to understand and communicate complex problems at different levels of detail, coordinating cross-program areas and with customers; excellent understanding of WAN, LAN, voice technology, encryption techniques, security hardening technology, network administration skills and experience with provisioning long haul circuits. Technical presentation skills; Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with minimal direction and oversight; Current SCI SSBI with current CI Polygraph. 25-50% travel will be required. End-to-end System Engineering processes, planning, coordination, and scheduling, experience; excellent network engineering.

Preferred Qualifications: Detailed understanding of various agencies' worldwide networks. Masters of Science is desired
