Engineer Product Development We are a manufacturer of industrial food processing equipment, located on the east side of Columbus. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Engineer to lead our product development initiative. The ideal candidate for this newly created position will have a BSME or equivalent. Previous RD experience, machine design, and experiment design for prototype testing is required. All candidates must have 5 years' experience with CAD design. Experience with SolidWorks is preferred. Responsibilities include working with stakeholders to produce thorough product and application definitions, developing product knowledge through hands-on application experience, and designing customized versions of standard equipment to suit specific application needs. Direct customer contact will require strong communication skills and a willingness to travel to customer sites for equipment testing. 10%-15% travel should be expected.
