Engineer Project Manager Job in Panama City 32404, Florida US


Provides engineering support to the Air Force Energy Program to address energy, water, and other utility conservation and acquisition programs.  Provides project and program control for facility and utility infrastructure energy conservation projects.  Provides project management support for renewable energy feasibility studies, Power Purchase Agreements and direct funded projects.  Conducts training, analyzes systems and methods of operation, develops guidance and implements energy and other facility initiatives, projects, and programs to reduce energy demand and consumption costs.  Engineering support focuses on behavior, operation and maintenance, and efficiency upgrades to Air Force infrastructure to reduce energy use and reduce utility costs.  Supports the development, guidance and implementation of distributed and renewable generation projects, and the design, review, and construction of energy efficient structures (new construction and retrofits).   Provides expertise in energy efficient and sustainable design fundamentals to enhance the long-term efficiency, sustainability, and operations of Air Force facilities.  Processes Air Force documents necessary to program projects on an Air Force installation.  Identifies possible funding sources for execution such as Operations and Maintenance (OM) program,  and Energy Conservation Investment Program (ECIP), and others.

Basic Qualifications:
BS degree and at least 10 years experience  
•Knowledge of Facility Engineering Systems
•Understanding of energy consuming and distribution systems.
•In-depth knowledge of MS Office
•Ability to extract and analyze engineering data to determine trends 
•Must have ability to write, review, and present briefings and papers.
•In-depth knowledge of MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Air Force facility engineering procedures.

Knowledge of facility energy reporting procedures
