This person will be responsible for working with this company's customers and suppliers on quality issues and concerns from pre-production through the life of the part. They want this person to have 2 year quality engineer experience with a desire to work in a foundry or automotive manufacturing company. This person must have knowledge and experience with PPAP, APQP, PFMEA and other quality procedures. This person will be traveling 30% of the time to customer and suppliers (all local) and will be expected to help sort product, identify quality issues, and develop and train suppliers to meet quality standards. This person will need to have knowledge of and be able to work with Microsoft (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, etc.) Prefer someone who can read blue prints. Prefer an Technical Degree or equivalent experience but this is not required.
