Maintains and develops mission planning software and other software tools in support of the B-2 bomber. A successful candidate will have at least four years of programming experience in a procedural programming language such a C, FORTRAN, Jovial, and/or Ada. Development experience with object-oriented programming languages and relational databases will be considered a plus. Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Collaborates with systems engineers in the planning, design, development of new software capabilities and develops software in support of engineering tasking assignments and upgrade projects. Assists in determining computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions, and utility programs. Ensures software standards are met.
