Position Description:

Work in a team to develop physical layer system requirements, specifications, algorithms, hardware architecture, system modeling, simulations, verification and testing of current and next generation wireless communication systems. Responsibilities for this position will include:
1. developing innovative signal processing algorithms and working with hardware/RF/software engineers for implementation;
2. system design, modeling, and performance evaluation;
3. supporting chip bring-up, performance validation and debugging.

Qualifications:

1. M.S.E.E. + 4 years of experience or Ph.D. + 1 year of experience in wireless communication.
2. Must have the following skill sets and experience:
a. strong theoretical background in wireless communication or digital signal processing;
b. deep knowledge of MIMO and OFDM technologies
c. excellent analytical and engineering problem solving skills
d. past experience with cellular technologies such as GSM, WCDMA, CDMA2000, TD-SCDMA, WiMAX, LTE, etc.
e. skilled and versatile in software programming
f. excellent written and oral communication skills
3. Desirable skill and experience:
a. Hardware architecture and hardware/software partitioning
b. RF experience
4. Must be self motivated and comfortable working independently.
