Description Make A Difference Engineer Supervisor, Washington DC Parsons offers the U.S. Government qualified and clearable personnel to solve engineering, construction, facility, intelligence, environmental, and information technology needs. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead assessment field efforts including supervising team of up to five engineers/architects/designers. Responsible for identifying deficient conditions for a variety of building types and site conditions Provide corrective action for associated deficient conditions Provide written narrative descriptions about the general condition of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems Enter data into computerized assessment software; QC team data for completeness and accuracy Review and interpret drawings Oversea development of assessment findings report Coordinate with data base programmers and business analysts to define system requirements. Help to define work processes, criteria, schedule, standards and procedures Extensive travel to job locations (domestic and worldwide) Assist other assessors as needed Qualifications Experience and Qualifications: 4-year professional degree in engineering, or related field, mechanical preferred 12 + years of related work experience. Professional registration and advanced degrees are desired, but not a requirement for this position. Highly motivated Requires a working understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in common use over the past 40 years and their application to existing facilities Strong written and oral communication skills Willing and able to walk for long periods and climb ladders Familiarity with organizational of Navy housing and public works in order to effectively communication with the client regarding data management requirements.
