Engineer/Geologist/Scientist -- Fort Collins, CO

Job Description AECOM's Fort Collins Colorado office is currently seeking a junior level geologist or environmental engineer to work closely with experienced geologists, engineers, and project managers. The candidate will have some experience in both field and office related tasks associated with environmental characterization and remediation projects. Field tasks include groundwater and soil sampling, drilling oversight, construction oversight, operation and maintenance of groundwater treatment systems, and other related field activities. Office tasks include laboratory data interpretation, technical report writing, and task management. Other related duties may be assigned. The successful candidates will have a BS in Geology, Environmental Engineering or related field and 3 to 5 years experience within the industry and 40-hour OSHA training is preferred. Qualified candidates must be comfortable with both office and field work, be familiar with MS Office Word/Excel and other similar computer programs. Candidate must also be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. Travel and overtime will be necessary to support the Fort Collins office and other Southwest Mountain Region projects. Travel requirements may be up to 2 to 4 consecutive weeks. The position requires solid written and verbal communication skills, exemplary time management skills, ability to multi-task, and an individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
