Engineering Consultant Job in Cumbria, Anglia UK
Self motivated Engineering Consultant required to join our clients Maintenance Engineering team based in Cumbria on a full time permanent basis.
This is a chance to join a progressive company as an Engineering Consultant undergoing strategic growth which you will have an integral part of assisting with when you join. Your role as an Engineering Consultant will predominantly focus on delivering and managing business improvement initiatives and maintenance optimisation projects in the nuclear decommissioning sector.
You will be working from the clients site as a Engineering Consultant within a team environment and you will have responsibility for Assessment, Design and Implementation of defined packages of work.
- Industry experience in developing and managing maintenance improvement programmes involving the use of RCM/DMEXA/RCA assessment tools is a must.
- You will need a hands on approach to change management initiatives.
- Used to working at all levels of an organisation influencing the stream-lining of processes and procedures
- Experience man-management ability
- Mechanical/Electrical background
- IT Literate with experience in MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio etc
Ideally the client would also like -
- At least 2-3 years experience in a similar environment - (not essential)
- Workshop facilitation and training experience
- RCM Facilitator trained
- Working knowledge of INPO AP913 Equipment Reliability Process Description
- Nuclear Industry work experience
- Six Sigma
