Our Aerospace business unit in Williamtown, New South Wales is seeking a Hornet Usage Monitoring System Routing Processor to join their engineering team. As part of the Aircraft Integration, Maintenance and Support line of business, you will primarily be accountable for the management of data associated with; engine service life responsibilities, flight data set information, crash data recorder management, as well as quality system and configuration management.
Other key aspects to this challenging technical role will see you:
• Responsible for collecting and validating computer aided maintenance data and F/A-18 A/B and F Hornet aircraft flight data
• Responsible for processing F/A-18 A/B and F Hornet aircraft data to derive life usage information for General Electric F404 and F414 engines
• Responsible for detecting and resolving F404 and F414 engine configuration anomalies
• Responsible for processing F/A-18 A/B and F aircraft data to derive fatigue usage information for F/A-18 A/B and f model airframes
• Liaising with stakeholders to ensure engine and airframe usage reports are provided in a timely manner
• Responsible for managing distribution and tracking of F/A-18 A/B Hornet aircraft crash data information
As the ideal applicant, you will have:
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role involving data management
• The ability to undertake routine activities without immediate supervision
• The ability to undertake non-routine tasks with some supervision
• A confident approach to engage other (more experienced) engineering team members for assistance
• A proactive approach to professional development and a motivation to expand skills within an own engineering environment
• Strong organisational skills and a high attention to detail
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
